Paper Work

Ive spent part of the week in the studio, not in the studio but on the phone and doing paperwork. Arts council funding applications, pricing, research and quotes.

I believe I now have a number of options as far as sourcing metal and getting it welded is concerned. Over the next few days I will visit a framers to get a quote on the pieces of the picture frame and then I will have to wait until the end of January before going all in dependent upon the Art Councils response, although this idea is only the first of many I want to work on during my time at Spurn

The following pieces of text/ locations are works in progress.

1. facing the humber - "Drains a fifth of England"
2. Looking into the mudflats - "1msq = calorific count of a mars bar"
3. (sea defence) The last Vikings departed from here
4. (Tank Ditch) "One of only two left in Western Europe"
5. on the beach - Wilibrod leaves to convert the Friezians
6. The only documented breach
7. High and low lights
8. Rail track
9?
10?

More work required and a further plundering of Andrews knowledge.
